Network monitoring specialist Paessler reports third year of UK growth

26 February 2013 - Leading network monitoring specialist Paessler has significantly expanded its market share in the UK for the third consecutive year, increasing sales by more than 43 per cent. The company recorded growth across all of its worldwide markets over the past 12 months, and has had a promising start to 2013 with record sales in January. 

To support its growth, Paessler boosted its global workforce by almost 50 per cent in 2012. The company also strengthened its regional sales channel with the addition of 25 new partners in the UK, and doubled reseller sales as a result.

Paessler attributes the continued rise in demand for its PRTG network monitoring software to the fact that more and more businesses, from the small to the large, are becoming dependent on increasingly complex IT networks.  PRTG's price point and ease of use puts it in a strong position to take advantage of the opportunity created as CIOs and system administrators turn to network monitoring to ensure optimal performance and high availability.

Paessler also plans to expand its geographic reach, with a focus on Australia and New Zealand.
