SCALE
4,500 km fiber, 10,000+ customers, NOC, 100 antenna sites
IENTC Telecomunicaciones is a Mexican ISP with 4,500 km of fiber optic infrastructure across the states of Querétaro and Guanajuato, serving more than 10,000 customers with a guaranteed 99.9% availability. Services include dedicated internet, SD-WAN, managed Wi-Fi, VPN, SIP trunks, mobile telephony, and data center solutions.
For an ISP operating at this scale, the fundamental challenge is simple: detecting problems before customers do. Any failure that reaches a customer first means lost trust, potential SLA penalties, and competitive disadvantage.
IENTC has operated with PRTG since the company's earliest days, scaling from the free edition to a full commercial deployment as its network grew.
PRTG monitors the full IENTC network infrastructure from its NOC in Querétaro, tracking latency, traffic, ICMP, link status, temperature, humidity, power, and optical power at key locations across the network.
Preventive alerts fire by web, SMS, phone, and email before failures reach customers. Specialized response teams are deployed at strategic points across the network. Custom reports are generated to track SLA performance and operational health.
With 100 antenna sites and 300 partners providing 24/7 support, the NOC depends on PRTG to maintain continuous operational awareness across the full fiber and wireless infrastructure.
PRTG's scalability has matched IENTC's growth from a regional startup to one of Mexico's top 20 telephone network operators, without replacing the platform at any stage.
PRTG is the backbone of our high-quality internet and telephony service. Without it, we would be blind. We use PRTG to keep the network operating and avoid any incidents.
