Paessler Registers up to Triple-Digit Growth in the APAC region across 2021 despite COVID-19 Challenge

Paessler witnesses record growth of up to 115% across Healthcare, Public Transport, Education, and Public Sectors during the pandemic period

Kuala Lumpur, 19 October 2021 - Paessler, the monitoring experts for IT infrastructures and networks, today announced strong business growth in ASEAN across 2021. The company has registered strong growth of up to 115% across the healthcare, public transport, education, and public sectors this year and is confident of this growth trajectory to continue into 2022, with an expected 20% growth across the region.

“We are committed to making significant, additional investments in the market to support our product roadmap strategies, enabling us to better empower sectors such as the healthcare and education industries in the region. To do this, we will start with growing and strengthening our regional presence through our regional headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, ensuring our local teams have expertise in the business nuances within each respective market they operate within. Our strong local partners who know the market well will be able to position themselves strategically within their segments, enabling them to better cater to the dynamic needs of these markets,” said Sebastian Kruger, Vice President for Asia Pacific. ̈

Paessler has seen strong growth over the pandemic due to the market’s increased need to reduce risks, enable better monitoring of IT infrastructures, save time, maintain business continuity, access to scalability, and stay compliant and flexible to the needs of its customers and employees, even as remote working becomes the new norm across the market. This has allowed them to see a 115% growth in Indonesia, from January to August this year, while also forming strong partnerships with local partners such as Daya Cipta Mandiri Solusi, a top performing partner in the region that strongly advocates for cloud adoption and digital transformation. Through this partnership, Paessler can also better network with key sectors in the region – i.e. government, financial services, industrial, education, etc. – to enable them on their digital transformation journey. In Thailand, they have maintained stable growth over the past year at 15%, while enabling local businesses – such as IT Essential, a top performing partner in the region with their monitoring solutions.

“While we continue to remain focused on our families, staff, and community during the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple compelling market factors indicate that 2022 will be a fantastic year for us as we roll out new cloud-based solutions and features to improve and enable IT infrastructures locally. We are committed to serving the market effectively, and through this we hope to drive greater value and performance alongside our customers,” Kruger added. ̈

Paessler’s PRTG Network Monitor is a powerful network monitoring tool, enabling businesses to effectively manage their platforms and network infrastructure. Its open architecture also means that it allows for an endless supply of device monitoring support through included, custom, and third-party plug-ins and add-ons. The PRTG Enterprise Monitor and PRTG Hosted Monitor further highlights the company’s commitment to ensuring businesses of all sizes have access to its monitoring tools.

Moving forward, Paessler aims to increase its presence and market share in the APAC region within the next two years, providing digital transformation opportunities and solutions to the market. The company is committed to enabling its customers everywhere to navigate the new normal, while also providing training to end-customers with the focus on supporting its channel partners through elevated partner programs to better serve the market.
