This is a selected overview of PRTG features we are currently working on or will work on in the future.
Please be aware that some of the items may move or even disappear completely.
We are collecting feedback via survey to help us develop some of our new features
and we would love to get your opinions. Look for the hint s
Monitor the status and performance of your 3PAR storage system. We will implement dedicated sensors for HPE 3PAR drive enclosure, virtual volume, and controller nodes.
The HPE 3PAR Common Provisioning Group sensor is available as of PRTG stable version 22.214.171.1249, and you can try out experimental versions of the sensor types HPE 3PAR Drive Enclosure and HPE 3PAR Virtual Volume as of PRTG stable version 126.96.36.1992.
Monitor your server hardware using the Redfish protocol from your servers' BMC controllers like Lenovo XClarity, HPE iLO or Dell iDrac. This enables you to keep an eye on CPU, power supply, or disk drives, for example. Redfish is the successor of IPMI and provides better security.
Try out an experimental version of the Redfish System Health sensor as of PRTG stable version 188.8.131.529.
Monitor your Microsoft 365 mailbox and keep track of the mailbox size and latest and oldest emails. You can also monitor specific emails by using filter options.
Use PRTG Desktop to transfer probes and other objects between configurations of different PRTG servers, and to easily read and compare the configuration files.
Group sensors from different PRTG servers in PRTG Desktop for a quick overview or to use them on your dashboards.
We add yearly plans to Paessler PRTG Hosted Monitor.
Perform a search on multiple PRTG core servers simultaneously.
Add a widget that shows the frequency of defined sensor states over time on the multi server dashboard in PRTG Desktop.
Initial version of a new client API that you can enable in addition to the existing API. The initial feature-set will be limited but extended over time. You can use it to query monitoring objects and perform basic actions (pause/resume, scan now, acknowledge monitoring objects).
Initial version of a new responsive, mobile-friendly web-interface that you can enable in addition to the existing interfaces. The initial feature-set will be limited but extended over time. You can use it to view the current monitoring status and perform basic actions (pause/resume, scan now, acknowledge monitoring objects).
Monitor an OPC UA tag if and how often the value is changing to detect issues in the system or process like communication breakdown between PLCs.
Better web-based visualisation of historic data in graphical form and a modern table-like representation for easier data filtering and consumption in a new web interface.
A new and modern dashboard designer in a new web interface.
Monitor Palo Alto firewalls
Monitor the status and battery health of your Eaton UPS.
