How to check Qmail status in linux ?

How to use PRTG v12 to monitor Qmail status ? It seems to not much people interest to monitor linux useful tool.

So far I felt v12 improve windows support a lot during my review product. Currently only Linux item need to check before recommend my boss to purchase it.

We're sorry, but there is nothing like a "QMail Health" sensor. There are some sensors though, that might be interesting here:

The IMAP sensor and the POP3 sensor can be used to monitor an inbox.

There are two Email Roundtripsensors, too. Roundtrip IMAP and Roundtrip POP3 will send an Email via SMPT and try to receive it.

PRTG also does have some generic sensors, that can be customized for your needs. If the tool offers an XML-File, you can for example use Http XML/Rest Value sensor to read data from that xml.

Thank ! If want to check qmail status. Eg. SSH. /var/qmail/bin/qmailctl queue Any script which I could add ?

Here is an article, that might help you.

You will have to edit it, so it will perform the commands you need, but it will hopefully show you, how to integrate a custom ssh script into PRTG.
