THIS INFORMATION IS OUTDATED

As a result of ongoing changes in the Azure API, we decided to drop the Azure sensor and GenCert Tool.

Both are no longer available from http://prtgtoolsfamily.com

Yes, there is a custom sensor available on PRTG Tools Family.

"This sensor Gets the XML result from a Service Management Resource of an Azure account. "

Set up is a little tricky due to the use of certificates in the Azure cloud.

Hi,

Could you tell me how to setup this sensor on PRTG? Also I was wondering if there is another way/sensor to monitor virtual servers inside Azure?

Thank You.

As the sensor is not from us, it might be better to get in touch with the developer of the sensor directly.

The first of many Azure sensors has been released in version 20.4.63.1412.

You can find details about the Microsoft Azure Virtual Machine Sensor here: https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/microsoft_azure_virtual_machine_sensor

Please have a look at the roadmap for more details of upcoming Azure sensors.
