System Requirements
Version 5 of PRTG Traffic Grapher requires the following basic system configuration:
· Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003
· Windows 2000/XP/2003 recommended
· 64 MB RAM (256 MB and more recommended)
· 20 MB disk space for installation
· between 25kb and 300kb disk space per sensor per day for the monitoring data database
· TCP/IP Network Connection
Although PRTG itself works fine on the 64 bit versions of Windows XP and Windows 2003, the Packet Sniffer will currently not be installed on x64 Windows systems and will not be accessible in PRTG.
Please also refer to the section Howto: Planning large installations of PRTG Traffic Grapher if you plan an installation with more than some 50-100 sensors.
