SNMP Traffic Sensors: Port Selection
After entering the device’s IP address in the Add Sensor Wizard clicking the Next button will bring up the Port Selection window. If the connection works you will be shown the Port Selection:
In the Port Selection window you will find a listing of all the defined device’s ports that can be monitored. Here, you can select any number of ports to be monitored. In order to select a port check the checkbox before the port definition.
At the bottom of this window, you will find a drop-down menu that allows you to define what kind of value you want to monitor. The options are:
· Bandwidth
· Unicast Packets/s
· Non-Unicast Packets/s
· Errors/min
Once you have made your desired settings for the new SNMP sensor click on the Next button. This will bring up the Additional Settings window.
