Notifications & Limits Settings
The Notifications&Limits tab allows you to enter information regarding email specifications if there is an error in the sensor, as well as define threshold and volume notifications.
There are three types of notifications available in PRTG Traffic Grapher:
· Error Notifications
· Threshold Notifications
· Volume Notifications
All three are defined using the Notifications&Limits tab.
Additionally you can define horizontal limit lines that are shown in the graphs.
Using the Add… buttons you can add new notifications and limit lines (see below).
It is possible to set up multiple notifications. This is particularly useful if certain notifications are to be selected / deselected for different recipients (such as if someone is on holiday). In order to select / deselect a notification, merely click on the checkbox in front of it to enable / disable the notification.
Clicking the Edit button will open up the notifications dialog and allow you to edit its settings. The Delete button will delete the notification entirely.
