Checking sensor at specific time

Is it possible to check a sensor at a specific time? Eg. I want to check a sensor once every 24 hours at 10:00 am.

not at the moment, sorry.

the best way to achieve tis is to use a schedule for the sensor and make it active only for a short period of time. e.g. 10:00 to 10:05

So the years have passed by, and I too would like to have a fuction like this. I wanna check the sensor at specific time. Parameters I would use: check 5 times every 5 minutes for 2 hours every friday in the 4th week etc.
