I am using the Enterprise Console of PRTG and it feels rather sluggish. What can I do?

There are various aspects that can slow down the Enterprise Console and affect your user experience
- Are there any EC/WinGUI installations that consistently try to connect to the web server with misconfigured or incorrect passwords? This could trigger the brute-force-password-attack protection. See What does "100 logons failed since last start of PRTG" in the log mean?
- Is the connection between EC and PRTG server a slow connection with low bandwidth or high packet loss?
- Is the hardware running the PRTG server or the EC too slow?
- Does it help to turn off the Google Maps in the "View" menu?
- If you have several servers configured, try to enable as little as necessary at a time

Another reason why the Enterprise Console might perform sluggishly is if you have two active network adapters for different networks on the PRTG server. Turning one off should drastically speed up the Enterprise Console.
