Will PRTG Traffic Grapher 6 and PRTG Network Monitor 7 run on 64bit windows 2008?
I feel confident it will but better to ask than build a server and have issues.

it depends on the version you are using:
For PRTG 7 we officially support any version of Microsoft® Windows (XP or later, server or workstation, 32 or 64 bit) released to date.
See: PRTG 7 System Requirements
For PRTG 6 we officially support: Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista (32bit and 64bit)
Running PRTG 6 on Windows 7 and 2008 is not officially supported! In most cases it does work, except for packet sniffing. Please use PRTG 7 if you need packet sniffing on Win7 / 2008R2
