Share Disk Free sensor and authentication

My Share Disk Free sensor fails because authentication is required.

Cannot access network share: Access is denied(5) (code: PE030)

add the log on credentials in the device settings.

Is the share on a windows OS host or different?

Thanks, after adding Windows Credentials it no longer fails. The share is on a Linux samba server.
