The new Paessler Knowledge Base is a combination of knowledge base and forum implemented on a new, interactive platform. Here you can easily find the best fitting answer for your question within a collection of resources on network monitoring in general, and – of course – support, tips and tricks for PRTG Network Monitor, and our other software products. To find the information you need, either use the search function, or choose a topic from the "tag-cloud."
Apart from providing a fast 24-hour self-service support system for all users, the new Paessler Knowledge Base is an interactive community. You can ask questions, receive information, and even become an active part of the community by sharing your knowledge with other users by answering questions. CloudClimate CDN Performance Test
Find Out Which CDN Provider or Cloud Provider Serves You Fastest
Nowadays, state of the art websites use CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) to deliver static website assets such as images, CSS, and JavaScript files. As soon as your browser requests a website asset, its connection is directed to the "closest" server (in a network topological view) which, in the end, delivers the data.
Paessler has developed a "CDN Performance Test suite" for CloudClimate.com to compare 12 selected CDN hosting companies, plus 12 cloud servers running on public clouds around the globe. To take part in the test, you can run a small Ajax/JavaScript application over your personal Internet connection, and will get the results for the download of a 64 kbyte image shown in a graph.
