PRTG Release 6.2
New Release With Enhanced SNMP Performance
Among other implementations, PRTG Release 6.2 offers a heavily optimized SNMP engine that improves performance drastically, especially for bigger installations.As of version 6, PRTG can be run under Ubuntu Linux and thus offers most of its features to users and admins who do not use Windows systems. This is possible using the "Wine Library". You find a detailled description of the installation in a step-by-step tutorial by Dirk Paessler.
