Detecting Common Network Problems, Part VI: Software Problems

Software-related network problems can cause one or more computers or devices to lose the ability to communicate with other devices on or outside the network.

Network devices such as the Web server, file server, and mail server all run on software, and each one can expose your network to software-related network problems.

These problems may arise from newly installed software that is not compatible with certain devices on the network, corrupted software or databases, or possibly an outdated driver.

When your network is continuously monitored, you are able to detect and pinpoint where the problems exist or where they might exist in the future.
