Good news for PRTG users: Today we have released the first beta of the upcoming version 6 of PRTG Traffic Grapher! Late night yesterday lead developer Jens Rupp gave his ok to make the download for "V6.0.0 build number 102" public. The new version adds many features that have been requested by users of PRTG (there are more than 100.000 out there!)
  • We added a tag based filtering for long sensor lists in larger installations
  • Device templates make it easier to replicate a set of sensors to another device
  • We added management tools for Events and Schedules
  • The new Latency Sensor helps to discover overloaded devices
  • We have updated the design of both the Windows GUI and the Web-based GUI
  • and many more changes
To make it the best PRTG ever we have more or less worked on every aspect of the software: features, usability, compatibility, we even hired new designers for an updated look&feel.
